About SCleathercraft

Back in 2015, when I was still a graduate student in Russian. There was only one year left to finish the course, but I was bored with what I was learning and was bored with Russia. Becoming a Russian teacher when I returned home was never my dream. I happened to see pictures of handmade leather wallets that my friend posted on Facebook. They were so impressive to me and an idea came through my mind, I really wanted to make and sell them by myself. So after struggling for a while with myself, I decided to drop out of university to make it true. This was the most difficult decision of my life because my family and friends did not want me to follow this way. After 2 years since I stepped into leathercraft I realized the truth that I was too bad at doing business. The income did not cover the cost of material and other fees. Not many people knew the products I made. That was completely frustrating. I stopped making leather goods and worked as a night shift receptionist in local hotel for a year. But somehow I was always thinking about leathercraft that time and it caused me some problems while checking in and out the guests. After that I knew I had to get back to what I love the most. So, in early 2019, I decided to open a online shop in the hope of bringing my products to people all around the world. Making leather goods is my full time job now. There's a lot of things I have to do to get better income but I'm not afraid. I'm all in.

*** Some guys did came to Hoi An and asked me for address of my shop to order watch straps. I feel sorry to let all you know that I haven't had a local shop yet because of the lack of funds.
